Sir,
In accordance with Colonial Office Regula-
tion No. 133, I have the honour to inform you that I have
granted to Commander R. Murray Rumsey, R.N.,I.8.0.. Harbour
Master, four months' vacation leave from the 17th. September,
with permission to proceed to England. Arrangements have been
made for the adequate discharge of Commander Rumsey's duties
during that period without cost to the public.
2.
Commander Rumsey will have reached the
pensionable age before the expiration of his vacation leave,
and desires that arrangements may be made for the commencement
of his pension on the 10th. January next. I enclose a copy of
his Pension Paper and have to request that the Crown Agents
may be given the usual instructions.
